It seems that the local authority realy cares to attract visitors. Platamonas is a small village to spent your holidays in the summer by relaxing and enjoying the sun visiting near beaches such as Neoi Poroi, Messagala, Leptokarya, the nice beach bar Gallaria right under the castle of Platamonas.

You can also spent short time during winter, making daily excursions in mount Olymp, Litochoro to eat meat specialities, to drive on the mountains for visiting old but very nice villages such as Palaios Agios Pantelaiimonas or Ampelakia! The breakfast was amazing and had a lot of variety.

All fresh as well. The location was overlooking the beach and the balcony was great to look out to the sea. Very close to a lot of restaurants as well. Great to have private parking which was a 2minute walk from the hotel. The hotel also has a lift which was very helpful. Staff very helpful and friendly. A very good typical small family hotel. For me the home made sweet from quince, strawberry and cherry are perfect.

The staff not speech well English but all need we request they answer. Small clean room and no comfort, but usable bath room.
